PAOK left for Giannina after completing their preparation for the PAS encounter corresponding to matchday 15. Their Wednesday session at Toumba consisted of ball movement drills and instructions for defence and attacking deployment.

Angelos Anastasiadis has quite a few problems to deal with ahead Thursday’s match. Apart from suspended Răzvan Raț, the coach of PAOK cannot count on Giorgos Tzavellas either, as it was deemed necessary to rest him so that back-to-back matches don’t cause a recurrence in his recent injury.

Alexandros Tziolis, Róbert Mak, Giorgos Katsikas and Panagiotis Deligiannidis are also sidelined for the match, as they haven’t yet recovered from their injuries. They are expected to return to action after the Christmas break.
