Central Refereeing Committee appointed Michalis Voskakis (Rethymno) to take charge of the encounter PAS Giannina-PAOK, to be held on Thursday. He will be accompanied by Dimitris Verris (Lesvos) and Giorgos Stavroulakis (Rethymno), with Michalis Koutsiaftis (Arta) acting as fourth official. Christos Genneos (Athens) will be the Referee Observer.

The 35-year old Cretan referee has been handling Super League matches since the 2009-10 season (7 encounters on that season, none of PAOK). In 2010-11, he officiated two PAOK matches, both at home: PAOK – SKODA Xanthi 2-1, PAOK –AE Larissa 1-0. In 2011-12, he was assigned the encounters PAOK – Panionios 1-0 and Panathinaikos – PAOK 0-2. In the following season, he refereed four PAOK matches: the goalless draw vs AO Kerkyra at Corfu, the home 1-0 win over Levadiakos, the 2-2 draw at Charilaou against Aris and the home 2-0 victory over Veria. Last season, he took charge of the away 2-0 defeat by Panetolikos and the home win over PAS Giannina (2-1). In the current league, he has refereed three times: Levadiakos-Kerkyra 2-3, Panionios – AEL Kalloni 0-2 and Panetolikos – Panathinaikos 0-1.

He has also handled two fixtures of PAOK in the Greek Cup: PAOK-PAS Giannina 2-1 in 2010 and Ethnikos Asteras – PAOK 0-3 in 2011. In his refereeing career, he has handled 51 Super League games, 15 matches in Football League, 21 in Football League 2 and 7 Greek Cup encounters.
