U15s defeat PAS Giannina 2-0

PAOK U15s were clearly better than PAS Giannina and found a way to bring down their rivals’ defensive wall to win 2-0 at Mikra Ground.

The pupils of Vasilis Mittas and Vasilis Kanaras remain at top place of Group B with 16 points, two points ahead of Xanthi. They have recorded five victories and a draw (against Xanthi).

Lyratzis scored the opener from the spot in the 74th minute, converting a penalty awarded to Gaitanidis. Four minutes later, Tsaousis cemented PAOK’s win with a direct free-kick.

PAOK U16 team spent a comfortable and entertaining morning against Thermaikos Thermi, defeating them 3-0. Mirosław Sznaucner’s and Alekos Theodoridis’ players dominated procedures and prevailed with three fine strikes, two shots on woodwork while also wasting several good chances to extend the scoreline.

Dodontsakis’ header broke the deadlock after 30 minutes of play. Τachmatzidis doubled PAOK’s lead collecting Pechlivanidis’ cross and Filippidis added a third in the 70th minute with a close-range tap in.
