PAOK are preparing for their second tough encounter in a span of four days. Therefore Saturday’s practice was more of a players’ management session rather than training, due to back-to-back matches.
PAOK players trained in the rain at Toumba, starting with warm-up exercises and then proceeding to circle and technical drills. Those who played all 90 minutes at “Artemio Franchi” trained in lighter rhythm than the rest.
Giannis Skondras trained normally with his teammates for the first time since his injury, without complaining of any ankle pains. Dimitris Papadopoulos also returned to full training. Răzvan Raț and Róbert Mak followed a specific recovery program.
Afterwards, PAOK players had dinner in Toumba’s fourth floor. They have a scheduled stretching session on Sunday morning at the stadium and then the players picked by Angelos Anastasiadis will go to Makedonia Palace.
