PAOK players got a first taste of the adverse weather conditions they will encounter on Thursday in their match against Dinamo Minsk for the UEFA Europa League.
The “Double-Headed Eagle” held their Wednesday training in Minsk for about an hour under light snowfall, with the temperature at -8 degrees Celcius and the humidity well over 75%. After the usual warm-up with jogging, passing and 5-2 games, Angelos Anastasiadis split his players in two groups for a training match with specific tactical instructions regarding the attacking deployment from the centre and the flanks.
All players available to the coach trained without problems. Thursday’s match will not be held at Minsk, but at BATE Borisov’s ground, the venue that hosted the UEFA Champions League encounter between the Belorussian champions and FC Porto last Tuesday.
#After the training session, the administrative delegation of PAOK attended the official dinner of the two clubs.
