Dimitris Thanos (Grevena) will take charge of the Sunday’s encounter between PAOK and OFI for matchday 5 of the Super League. He will be accompanied by assistant referees Christos Magiannis (Arta) and Dimos Anastopoulos (Arkadia), with Giannis Delfakis (Arkadia) acting as fourth official. Thanasis Vellios (Xanthi) will be the referee delegate.

35-year old Thanos was promoted to Super League in 2010-11 and his first PAOK match was the 1-1 draw at Serres on that same season. He first stepped into Toumba on the opening day of 2011-12 season, for PAOK’s 1-0 victory over SKODA Xanthi. He handled three matches of the “Double-Headed Eagle” last season: PAOK – Panathinaikos 2-1, PAOK – Levadiakos 3-0 and Asteras Tripoli – PAOK 2-1. He has refereed only one league match in the current season: Levadiakos – Panathinaikos 1-1.
