That’s why in most PAOK trainings there are drills of reduced space deployment with no more than two touches of the ball per player. On Thursday, the “Double-Headed Eagle” coach told his players to work on the continuous passing of the ball and position switching in reduced space, as three teams of 8 players each alternated on the pitch. The session ended with a training match, free of instructions, decided by Facundo Pereyra strike.
Giorgos Tzavellas trained with the rest of his teammates again, Hedwiges Maduro followed personalized training due to fatigue, Charles Itandje did recuperation work because of a sore back, while Stefanos Athanasiadis, Răzvan Raț and Miguel Vítor, who didn’t feature against RKC Waalwijk, trained normally.
