PAOK players don’t have the luxury to rest after their encounter against EA Guingamp, as the match against AO Kerkyra is just around the corner.
The “Double-Headed Eagle” continued their preparation for the Sunday game with a training session at Toumba. The players who started the encounter against EA Guingamp worked in low intensity, going through recuperation drills.
The remaining players did physical condition exercises and worked on their tactics with a training game in reduced pitch. Charles Itandje complained of muscular pains and didn’t train out of precaution. Maarten Martens has a calf injury and went through physiotherapy, along with Alexandros Tziolis, who stayed in the gym for recuperation work.
Róbert Mak continued his physiotherapy, while Giorgos Katsikas and Panagiotis Deligiannidis trained on their own, in elevated rhythm. PAOK players will have their usual stretching session on Sunday morning and then Angelos Anastasiadis will issue his list for the Kerkyra game.
