PAOK FC announce the signing of Róbert Mak from 1. FC Nürnberg. The 23-year old Slovak international player penned a three-year contract.

Born on 08.03.1991 in Bratislava, Slovakia, Mak was introduced in professional football in England and made a name for himself in Germany. At the age of 15, in 2006, he joined the youth system of Manchester City FC. Two years later, he signed his first professional contract with the Citizens and played for their B side.

His English adventure was over before he made it to the Premier League. He moved to the German Bundesliga in 2010 signing for 1. FC Nürnberg. He enjoyed time on the pitch right from the start and completed his first season in Germany’s top flight with 22 appearances, establishing himself as a dependable option on the right flank of the attack.

The young Slovak, who has earned twice the distinction as “Best Newcomer” in his homeland, is also a full international.
