Giannis Skondras and Fanis Tzandaris attended to the media in Toumba Stadium’s mixed zone after the final whistle of PAOK’s encounter against EA Guingamp:

Giannis Skondras said: “It would be a disaster to bow our heads now and not look ahead. Our European campaign is over but we still have two objectives and we should learn from our mistakes. We need to forget this defeat and rest, as we are in for a tough match on Sunday. Our overall performance tonight was not good and we deserved to lose. We lacked concentration, conceded first and didn’t perform as well as we can. When we step onto the pitch, stress is not an issue. We shouldn’t look for excuses. We didn’t play well. Our fans are always there to boost us. We wanted to make them happy, that is our aim in every match. Sometimes we achieve it, sometimes we don’t. But everybody should know that we always give our 100%”.

Fanis Tzandaris added: “We played well but the match didn’t go our way. Our rivals were lying deep and opted for counterattacking football. We conceded the second goal at a time when we had advanced all lines”.
