PAOK recorded an emphatic win over Veria, displaying quality football and scoring beautiful goals. Football fans appreciated the performance and bestowed to PAOK players the Super League matchday 8 awards.

Stefanos Athanasiadis won the Best Goal competition with his impressive volley, by clinching 59% of the vote, ahead of OFI Crete’s Carlos Milhazes (38%) and Panthrakikos’ José María Cases (2,8%). As for Răzvan Raț, who teed up Klaus for this goal, he earned the MVP award of matchday 8.

Romania’s skipper prevailed by getting a staggering 70,12% of the vote, way ahead of Panetolikos’ Erik Moreno (23,2%) and Asteras Tripolis’ Pablo Mazza (6,7%). It’s Raț’s second MVP award of the season, while Giannis Skondras has also been honoured once.
