PAOK recorded a huge win with an impressive performance over Olympiacos at “Georgios Karaiskakis” on Wednesday. Their feat was duly appreciated by football fans in Greece, as the vote of matchday MVP and Best Goal suggests.

Facundo Pereyra’s screamer landed the Best Goal accolade with an impressive 84,84% of the vote. David Fuster’s volley in the same match got 13,22% , while Levadiakos’ Vangelis Mantzios got 1,94%. Pereyra became the second PAOK player to win Best Goal honours this season after Stefanos Athanasiadis.

Dimitris Salpingidis was simply outstanding at Faliro, displaying also his defensive abilities as he featured as right full-back for almost an entire half. He won the Matchday 6 MVP award by storm, getting a massive 89,98% of the vote and prevailing over Levadiakos’ Emmanuel Koné (5,91%) and Silva Cleyton of SKODA Xanthi (4,11%). It is the fifth time that a PAOK player collects an MVP award this season, following the ones landed by Giannis Skondras (vs Platanias), Stefanos Athanasiadis (vs Ergotelis) and Răzvan Raț (vs Veria and vs OFI Crete).
