PAOK were founded by refugees. That’s one of the many reasons behind the club supporting ardently the antiracism campaign #Footballpeople of FARE, that will run from 9 until 23 October in an effort to eradicate racism and discrimination from football.

PAOK FC action however doesn’t stop here. The club is determined to showcase equality and respect diversity in every aspect of their operations.
Their top scorer and co-captain Stefanos Athanasiadis was photographed with the campaign’s T-shirt saying: «We are football people. Racism and discrimination have no place in our sport».
Răzvan Raț underlined that «I am very happy to participate in this campaign. Racism has no place in football».
Third-placed in the all-time appearances list of the UEFA Europa League, Dimitris Salpingidis reminded everyone that «PAOK were founded by refugees, therefore fighting for such a noble cause is in the club’s DNA. Our wish is to see racism and discrimination eradicated from our sport».
