PAOK complete their main preseason stage at Oosterbeek on Sunday, after 17 days on Dutch soil. A day earlier, on Saturday (at 19.00 Greek time), they will face SC Cambuur in their last friendly test.
SC Cambuur will continue competing in the Dutch Eredivisie for a second consecutive season, as they avoided relegation clinching 12th place with 39 points last spring. They had been in the second tier since 2000-01 and returned to top flight just last season.
Since early April, Henk de Jong is at their helm, now aiming to help them remain in the top flight league more comfortably. They will kick off their Eredivisie season at home, in Cambuur Stadion Leeuwarden (capacity of 10.500), against FC Twente.
It won’t be an easy task, especially after the massive departure of 14 players from last season’s roster and the inclusion of 12 newcomers. However the Dutch side’s people remain confident of a much better season.
PAOK’s last friendly will also be broadcast on OTE TV.
