The streak has been broken! After Răzvan Raț’s three consecutive accolades, the MVP of the Month award has been won by another PAOK player. According to your vote, Stefanos Athanasiadis is November’s MVP. The “archer” of the “Double-Headed Eagle” produced some amazing performances this past month, scored four goals (two in Pankritio against Ergotelis and a brace in Belarus against Dinamo Minsk) and starred in the team’s fine run during November.

Landing this award however didn’t come easy. In Facundo Pereyra he had a strong rival. The Argentinian was especially lively and scored two beautiful goals against Panathinaikos and Panthrakikos with respective direct free-kick (the one against the “Greens” landed him the Best Goal of November award). The vote was too close to call from the start and ended with Klaus collecting 36% to prevail over Pereyra’s 34% -less than 100 votes setting the two of them apart.

Αlexandros Tziolis ended up in third place with 15% of the vote. A percentage acknowledging his great performances (sometimes featuring as centre back) during November.
