Saturday’s training match at Toumba ended goalless. Angelos Anastasiadis split his players into two groups, with the inclusion of U20s’ Patralis and Pouggouras. The match lasted for 50 minutes and aimed to the gradual adjustment of players to the competitive rhythm following the postponement of the Super League weekend fixtures.
Ergys Kace trained normally and played for all 50 minutes, while Răzvan Raț played just for one half, the coaching staff preferring to rest him. Stefanos Athanasiadis, Panagiotis Glykos and Dimitris Salpingidis didn’t participate in the encounter, having been granted leave of absence from their coach. Kyriakos Savvidis remained in the gym for physiotherapy, due to a leg knock. Hedwiges Maduro, Róbert Mak and Panagiotis Deligiannidis continued their recuperation work and Alexandros Tziolis went through his personalized training.
