The 2024-25 season finds Dimitris Taxidis on the technical staff of PAOK B. Taxidis was born in Vladikavkaz, holds Greek and Russian citizenship, graduated from the Kuban State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism in the city of Rostov, and he holds a UEFA A diploma.
He has been working at PAOK since 2013, while before that he worked at the academies of Agios Thomas in Goudi, the academy of Vrilissia and the Akrites of Sykeon, while he was also the coach of Niki Efkarpia (third division). As a player, he played at Rostov, Leonidio, Athenaikos, and Vrilissia, among others.
At PAOK, he trained the generation of youngsters born in 2004 and which he took over as Under-15 coach in the 2018-19 season and as Under-17 in the 2019-20 season, winning the respective Super League age category league titles. While in the 2017-18 season, when the Under-19s won the league championship, he was an associate of Pablo Garcia. Also, for around three years he also worked in the scouting department of the PAOK Academy.
He served in the 2nd paratrooper squadron, and speaks English and Russian.
