The final match of the Super League U15’s second edition will be held between PAOK and Olympiacos on Holy Wednesday 8 April at Chania, in Platanias ground.

PAOK had a smooth ride towards top spot in Group B, gaining a total of 59 points ahead of Xanthi’s 46. They wrapped up the regular season undefeated, recording just two draws. Their total football is reflected in the 72 goals they scored. This team last lost a match on 16 November 2013!

Gargalatzidis was top scorer with 15 goals, Lyratzis netted 14, while Gaitanidis and Doumtsis occupy third place of the scorers’ standings with 13 goals each. Kyrtsos and Kyziridis scored 6 goals each and the list features also Τsaousis (3), Τsigaras (3), Chatzis (3), Loufakis (1) and Tourgaidis (1).

Chatzis leads the assists’ list with 12, Tsigaras follows with 7, Kyrtsos and Tsaousis with 6 each. The list also consists of Lyratzis and Gaitanidis (5 each), Gargalatzidis (4), Doumtsis and Loufakis (3 each). Doulgaris, Maniotis and Tourgaidis (2 each), Kyziridis and Kyrkou (1 each).

These 22 players have been together for many years now and Vasilis Mittas had been their coach since 2008. Their daily schedule is quite tough, consisting of school, trainings and homework. For them, football is pleasure, a way of living and their aim in life.

PAOK’s expedition is already at Chania and they will hold their last training on Holy Tuesday at noon, at Platanias Athletic Centre.

The final of Holy Wednesday will consist of two 40-minute halves. In case of draw, the match will be decided by a penalty shoot-out.

Olympiacos topped Group A with 49 points, seven ahead of Asteras Tripolis.
