Defence simulation
The toughest part in rebuilding a team is creativity. The most crucial one though –in any team- is defence. That is what PAOK focused on Sunday’s morning training session.
Igor Tudor and his assistants chose to work on the team’s overall defensive function on a formation of three and –then- of four defenders.
Afterwards the players were split into two groups, the blacks and the orange, who tried to attack and defend (four against four) in situations of crossing from the flanks.
Stelios Kitsiou didn’t participate in the training session and stayed in the hotel suffering of stomach flu. Eyal Golasa did physiotherapy due to pains in the region of his recent injury, while Panagiotis Glykos was also absent.
On a positive note, Dimitris Konstantinidis no longer complains of pains and followed the biggest part of the regular program.
