Netherlands greet PAOK with hail
From Nea Mesimvria’s winter condition, PAOK landed in the… sauna of Düsseldorf and from there to Doorwerth in the Netherlands, their camp for the next fortnight. The weather kept playing tricks to the delegation, as the team’s first training session was accompanied by hail.
The session lasted less than an hour and was of low intensity, after the tough physical trainings in Greece and the tiring trip.
Igor Tudor aimed to decompress the players, before the kick off the main preseason work on Friday morning. PAOK players did warm-up drills under the guidance of Paolo Artico and then engaged in ball exercises, with circulation games in reduced space and moves on tactics basics.
Dimitris Konstantinidis is the only sidelined player and he is following a special recovery program. There are two sessions scheduled for Friday, at 10.00 and 19.00 (local times).
