Wednesday’s session was held under constant rain at Nea Mesimvria. First part of training lasted for one-and-a-half hour and consisted of physical condition drills and sprints, focusing on the players’ explosiveness, endurance and muscular strength.
Afterwards PAOK players worked on their finishing with a combinative exercise of sprints and volleys. The session concluded with a training match.
Ergys Kace and Dimitris Salpingidis trained normally. Fanis Tzandaris and Dimitris Papadopoulos continued their physiotherapy programs, while Eyal Golasa followed personalized training. Despite not complaining of groin pains, it was deemed preferable for him to train lightly as the pitch was heavy.
Panagiotis Glykos and Miguel Vítor have the flu. They were administered prescription medicine and left without training. As for Alexandros Tziolis, he did physiotherapy in the gym.
