PAOK on the road
One day after returning from Copenhagen, PAOK players packed their bags again to board the bus and travel to Giannina for the Super League encounter against local PAS.
PAOK’s schedule is tight and their preparation for the match against the Epirus outfit was completed with a training session at Toumba. Igor Tudor worked again on the team’s tactics in order to best prepare his troops for the requirements of tricky match.
Stefanos Athanasiadis trained along his teammates, but has been ruled out as hasn’t yet reached the required level of fitness after his toe injury that has sidelined him since almost the beginning of preseason. On the contrary, Dimitris Pelkas returns to action after recovering from the strain sustained in the first leg against Brøndby IF.
Charis Charisis participated normally in training more intensely in order to be at the disposal of his coach for the encounters following the international break. Stelios Pozoglou continued his recuperation program, while Gojko Cimirot and Terry Antonis remained in the gym for physiotherapy.
After training, Igor Tudor announced his 19-men list for the encounter against PAS Giannina. It consists of: Olsen, Glykos , Tzavellas, Vítor, Costa, Skondras, Kitsiou, Leovac, Tziolis, Kace, Konstantinidis, Sabo, Κ.Savvidis, Rodrigues, Pelkas, Mak, Koulouris, Jairo, Mystakidis.
