“Congratulations are in order for the coach and my teammates for this huge victory. It was just a good start in the group stage, there will be more big matches to come and we need to keep our feet on the ground. That was only the first step.

It’s a special night for me because of the 100-match milestone and I hope I can play many more. I am happy for the victory, for the team and me. I would have liked to score as well, but I am content with the three, almost four assists in the match!

“This has always been my favourite ground, even when I came here as a rival to play. This stadium motivates and provides extra energy to the footballers. It was nice scoring on my debut, but it’s all about the victory today. It wasn’t an easy match, but we made it look easy with our performance. We converted almost every chance we got in the first half”.
