Erik Sabo learned football at the youth ranks of PAOK’s rival in the previous round of the UEFA Europa League. He enjoyed three very good seasons that earned him his first cap for the Slovakia national team. He made his international debut on 23 May 2014 in the friendly encounter against Montenegro.

Tall (1,87 m.), fast and technically gifted, Sabo can feature in the axis and as right interior. He often charges forward and has an eye for goal.

In 2014-15, he scored 11 times, while adding six more since the beginning of the current season. In total he has 37 goals and 7 assists in 120 matches.
