During the international break, Giorgos Georgiadis and his staff worked a lot in order to improve the team’s performances, starting with the game against SKODA Xanthi. Now, ahead of the Easter break, the coaching staff of PAOK will conduct the second part of that mini preparation, in order to be fully fit ahead of the play-offs.

Those who started the game against SKODA Xanthi followed a special recuperation session with physical condition drills and massage in the gym. The rest of the players did their usual warm-up, recuperation games and tactical exercises in reduced space.

Sunday’s encounter created a few injury problems for PAOK. Stefanos Athanasiadis and Christian Noboa both picked knocks in the right knee and did physiotherapy. Miguel Vítor suffered a bruise in the left foot and did recuperation work. Facundo Pereyra sustained an abdomen injury, while Róbert Mak complained of calf pains. Panagiotis Deligiannidis bruised his knee interior ligament in the U20s’ game and did physiotherapy.

Alexandros Tziolis, substituted at half-time after feeling his groin muscles heavy, did physiotherapy and strengthening drills. Ricardo Costa warmed up along his teammates and then followed a special program with ball. He is expected to join normal training in upcoming days.
