Tactical work at Nea Mesimvria

PAOK continued their preparation for the Levadiakos game and the upcoming play-offs with a session held at Nea Mesimvria.

30.04.2015

Giorgos Georgiadis focused his work on tactical aspects of the game, trying to convey to his players the way he wants them to move on the pitch. He wants them to close down spaces towards their own box and create more chances to score at the other end of the pitch.

In Thursday’s training, the Greek coach put his effort in including the team’s flanks in creative plays. Stefanos Athanasiadis didn’t participate in the session as he complained of right leg pains and remained in the gym for physiotherapy out of precaution. Dimitris Salpingidis continued his recovery program under the guidance of rehabilitation trainer Giannis Katsanikas.

On Friday 1 May, PAOK players will train at Toumba, their session scheduled to start at 12.00
