A few hours after their game against Panetolikos, PAOK players returned to Toumba to kick off preparations for their Wednesday encounter against OFI. The “Double-Headed Eagle” must cut short their losses in the Super League and that can be achieved only through hard training.
Sunday’s menu consisted of tactics. Angelos Anastasiadis had his players engage in a training game in reduced space with restricted ball touches. Those who played all 90 minutes on Saturday went through a special recovery session with jogging and gym drills.
Dimitris Salpingidis did physiotherapy for his metatarsal injury. Stelios Pozoglou suffered a back contraction and only did physiotherapy out of precaution. Alexandros Tziolis and Panagiotis Deligiannidis continued their recuperation work in high intensity under the watchful eye of rehabilitation coach Giannis Tsakanikas.
On Monday 2 February, PAOK will kick off their session at 11.30 at Nea Mesimvria training centre.
