Squad announced for Asteras game
Dimitris Papadopoulos returns to action, but Miguel Vítor is ruled out for the play-off encounter against Asteras Tripolis.
PAOK completed their preparation for the Sunday game, with the injuries hindering the plans of their coach. Giorgos Georgiadis cannot count on Miguel Vítor who has been ruled out of the encounter against Asteras Tripolis due to groin pains.
On the contrary, Dimitris Papadopoulos trained regularly in previous days having recovered from his biceps strain, and is available for action. Stefanos Athanasiadis has also made the match list, despite doing physiotherapy on Saturday.
Dimitris Konstantinidis, Εyal Golasa, Dimitris Salpingidis and Panagiotis Deligiannidis are sidelined. The latter’s MRI revealed a first-degree strain in the left calf.
Apart from regular training, Saturday’s session at Toumba focused on tactics and deal-ball situations. The list of Giorgos Georgiadis for the match reads: Itandje, Glykos, Skondras, Kitsiou, Raț, Tzavellas, Pougouras, Costa, Papagiannopoulos, Kace, Tziolis, Noboa, Savvidis, Maduro, Mak, Pozoglou, Pereyra, Athanasiadis, Koulouris and Papadopoulos.
