Recovery and basics of the game
One day after the friendly encounter against Koot Azur, PAOK players were split into two groups and worked separately on Sunday morning.
Those who played 60 minutes against Koot Azur got to do special recovery work on Sunday, under the guidance of Paolo Artico. The remaining players worked on the basics of the game that Igor Tudor insists on, ball circulation and fast movement.
Dimitris Konstantinidis is going through his recovery program in increased intensity and he is expected to join his teammates by the end of next week. Sotiris Papagiannopoulos is complaining of knee pains and did personalized physical condition work. Stefanos Athanasiadis will remain at Doorwerth in order to be near the team and under the supervision of the medical staff.
PAOK skipper is moving with crutches, but he will be able to walk unassisted and without aggravating his fractured toe in upcoming days thanks to the use of a special insole.
PAOK players have Sunday evening off and have been granted permission by Igor Tudor to visit Amsterdam with the team bus, if they wish to. Răzvan Raț, Alexandros Tziolis, Róbert Mak, Papagiannopoulos and Konstantinidis will remain in the hotel, as they will train in the evening in order to catch up with their teammates.
