Decompression, ball circulation and jogging
Defeating AEK Athens was imperative for psychological reasons. PAOK players have already put it in the past and are focusing now on their very demanding outing at Atromitos.
As usual in the aftermath of matches, players were split into two groups for training. Those who started the Toumba match followed a special decompression session at the gym under the guidance of Paolo Artico.
The only “souvenir” from the game was the bruised foot of Ricardo Costa. Dimitris Konstantinidis trained at a lighter pace than his teammates and will undergo prevention medical testing, due to the dizziness he felt during the encounter.
The second group of players engaged in high-intensity training with ball circulation drills in tight spaces under pressure, a half-pitch training match and physical condition exercises.
On Friday 25 September, the session is scheduled to start at 18.00 at Nea Mesimvria.
