The encounter against Olympiacos is in the past, as PAOK conceded their first goalless draw of the season. The “Double-Headed Eagle” picked up two injury problems on Sunday. A few minutes after coming off the bench, Dimitris Papadopoulos sustained a thigh injury, a strain according to the doctors’ first prognosis. The Greek forward underwent physiotherapy and on Tuesday afternoon he will have an MRI that will determine the extent of his injury.

Stefanos Athanasiadis went through the whole second half of the encounter against Olympiacos feeling pains in the iliopsoas muscle. PAOK skipper remained in the gym for physiotherapy and his participation in the upcoming league match will depend on his progress until Sunday. Fanis Tzandaris who stretched his left groin also did physiotherapy.

Monday training session was held at Toumba with those who started the encounter against Olympiacos doing recuperation work, physical condition drills and physiotherapy. The rest worked on tactics. Alexandros Tziolis engaged in explosiveness drills, completing his recuperation process following his groin injury.

PAOK players have been handed the day off on Tuesday. They will return to training on Wednesday with a double session at Nea Mesimvria (at 10:00) and Toumba Stadium (17:00).
