Focus on trip to OPAP Arena
PAOK did their duty, beat Lamia, and took advantage of AEK’s defeat at the “Leoforos” to return to the top of the table and attention now turns to the top of the table derby clash with the Union in Athens.
Players and technical staff gathered in Nea Mesimvria on Thursday (04.04) afternoon and started the preparations for Sunday’s (07.04) big showdown.
The players who were in the starting lineup against Lamia followed a recovery and rehabilitation program on the training pitch, in the gym and in the swimming pool. The rest of the squad worked with the coaches on ball possession and circulation, through various drills and games within small spaces.
Jonny Otto followed part of the squad’s regular training program and then broke off to do some individual work, while Ivan Nasberg and Živko Živkovic did an individual program. William Troost-Ekong received some physiotherapy and did some exercises at the gym.
On Friday (05.04) PAOK will be back in for training at 17:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
