The PAOK Academy in Corfu
The most historic team of Corfu (founded in 1932) and member of the renewed PAOK Network, Olympos Corfu, was visited by PAOK Academy executives. The level of organization of the academy is sound, as is its operation, and PAOK is looking forward to the further development and strengthening of relations with Corfu and the Ionian region in general.
Scout Kostas Lagonidis and PAOK Network manager George Gourtsas attended the academy’s two-day training program, discussed the details regarding the upcoming trials of the academy’s youngsters in the club’s departments and participated in two technical meetings with the technical directors and coaches on methodology and use of the PAOKFooty platform.
Olympos Corfu has privately owned facilities in Corfu town, has a men’s team, a reserve team and of course an academy, at which over 230 young players are coached.
