Work ahead of Asteras Tripolis
Despite a good performance for most of the match against Olympiacos, the three points did not come. The distance from the top may have increased but nothing has been decided yet. PAOK have two important games before the start of the Play Offs and the team are aiming to do their absolute best in order to enter the post season with the best prospects. The first challenge is the game against Asteras Tripolis at the Toumba Stadium.
The preparation for the match against the Arcadians began on Tuesday (25.02) with training in Nea Mesimvria. The players who were in the starting lineup against Olympiacos followed a recovery and rehabilitation program out on the training pitch, in the swimming pool and also in the gym, while the rest of the squad worked with the technical staff on tactics and also contesed a mini-friendly match.
Jonny Otto underwent an MRI that showed that he has suffered a right thigh strain and he is expected to be out for 4-6 weeks. Stefan Schwab also underwent an MRI that showed a minor injury to his knee and will be out of training for the next few days, with his condition being assessed daily.
Finally, Giannis Konstantelias , who received his third yellow card in the game against Olympiacos, will serve his suspension in the match against Athens Kallithea.
On Wednesday (26.02) PAOK will train at 10:30.
