- This is the third time PAOK have faced FCSB this season and the first time in Romania.
- The two rivals met on Matchday 2 of the League Phase of the Europa League and the Romanian team won 1-0 at the Toumba, while in the first-leg match on February 13, 2025 in the knockout phase they also won, this time via a 2-1 scoreline.
- Dinamo Bucharest were the first Romanian team that PAOK faced in European competitions. This was in the 1970-71 season in the Fairs Cup.
- In the first match held in Bucharest, PAOK were defeated 5-0 (8’ Dumitrășe, 51’ Dumitrășe, 65’ Popescu, 72’ Dinu, 85’ Popescu). In the second match, in Thessaloniki, PAOK prevailed 1-0 with a goal by Koudas in the 81st minute.
