Travel guidelines from the Romanian authorities in Bucharest
Paokfc.gr would like to share the detailed instructions the club has received from the Romanian authorities in order to ensure the safe travel and stay of PAOK fans in Bucharest.
To ensure that the match will take place safely, the Bucharest Police, in cooperation with the other competent authorities, will take the necessary measures to ensure the safe movement of fans to and from the stadium, as well as to maintain a climate of security throughout the city of Bucharest.
In the Old Town Center, the police will cooperate with the other authorities in a unified system to ensure public order and security. For this occasion, the Bucharest Police will deploy dialogue teams composed of Greek and English speakers, to facilitate communication with the visiting fans. These teams will be supported by four police officers from Greece, who will be present in the Old Town Center and at the stadium, with the mission of facilitating the dialogue and conveying the main messages of the Romanian authorities.
The entrance of visiting fans to the stadium will be allowed from 17:30, upon presentation of tickets, along with an ID card or passport. Visiting fans arriving by private vehicles can use the area of the Historic Center as a drop-off point.
Vehicles will then use the lane designated for public transport in the section between Hanul lui Manuc and the intersection with Calea Victoriei as a parking area.
This area will also serve as a boarding point for the transport to the sports stadium, between 16:30 and 17:30. The meeting point is as follows: https://maps.app.goo.gl/uNS1tCBunfbnWCqB9
