Work in view of Bucharest
The Double-headed Eagle squad are stepping up the pace of training ahead of the big game against FCSB in Romania, which will determine qualification to the Round of 16 of the 2024-25 UEFA Europa League.
Tuesday’s (18.02) training session was dedicated to tactical aspects through various exercises and games, while a friendly match was also contested with four goals.
Jiri Pavlenka worked alone due to the flu that he is suffering from, while Jonathan Gomez took part in some of the training session and then did some individual work. Finally, Dejan Lovren underwent some treatment.
On Wednesday (19.02) PAOK will train at 10:30 at the Toumba Stadium, with the program being open to media representatives for 15 minutes. In the afternoon, PAOK will depart for Romania and at 19:45, Razvan Lucescu’s pre-game press conference will be held at the National Arena. The players will be represented by Dimitris Pelkas .
FCSB will train at 16:00 at their training center and the Romanians‘ corresponding press conference will be held at the stadium at 18:45.
