Vote for January’s NOVA MVP
January was a difficult month. Full of mixed emotions, successes and failures. PAOK qualified for Europe, was eliminated from the Greek Cup in a thrilling tie with AEK at the Toumba Stadium and lost ground in the championship. Three players stood out and it’s up to you to decide who was the top performer. Let’s find the NOVA MVP of January.
Our first candidate is Tomas Kedziora. The Polish central defender is in unstoppable form for another season. With consistency and solidity at the back, he is the team’s leader in the defensive line, producing some impeccable partnerships with whoever plays alongside him. The highlight was an attack in the game against AEK at the Toumba in the Greek Cup, where he found the strength and energy to make a run up the length of the pitch to produce an assist for A. Zivkovic to open the scoring and make it 1-0.
Jonny Otto could also not be missing from the conversation. The Spanish wing-back was a joy to watch in January. Playing either on the right or left, he out in the kilometers, fought for every ball and contributed his best in every phase of the game.
Finally, Mady Kamara is also in the running for the award. The Guinean midfielder has been a key player in his first season with the club and is proving to be a key player also in the goals department. In January, Kamara scored two goals with his head against NFC Volos and Levadiakos, and was generally a big presence in the central midfield area for this team.
