Under-19s draw 0-0 in Crete
PAOK’s Under-19 side dropped two important points in Crete in their hunt for the Super League championship. OFI once again proved to be a tough opponent, with the final 0-0 score however not reflecting the plattern of the match, in which PAOK were in complete control.
It was control that they failed to convert into a goal, of course, despite several missed opportunities, and despite playing with a numerical advantage from the 70th minute. The visitors did have the ball in the net twice, but they were both indicated as offside (borderline phases, if we are honest). On the other hand, although the home team defended well, they never really threatened Beleri’s goal.
What matters, of course, is that PAOK are currently three points behind Olympiacos.
The next game for PAOK is a home clash against Lamia, which will be held next weekend in Souroti.
