United as one in support of the team
Another great European battle is on the menu tonight for our team, another great trip for the club’s fans, who will be backing the players to the hilt once again. Paokfc.gr has gathered all the details and key instructions that those traveling to San Sebastian need to know.
PAOK fans who will be in the city of San Sebastian are recommended to remain in the downtown area, in Gros, Antiguo, Paseo de la Concha, as well as in the old town. On the other hand, they should avoid the bars TXURI and XANTI near the stadium, Ferrerias Street, Armerias Square and Calle Juan de Bilbao. The city prohibits the consumption of alcohol on the streets.
Travelers to Spain can reach the stadium either on foot, via the streets Alameda del Boulevard, C/ Legazpi, C/ Idiakez, C/ Bergara, C/ Prim, Avd. / Sancho el Sabio, Avd. / Madrid, Anoeta Stadium (Paseo Anoeta No. 1), or by bus via Line 28, Line 26 and Line A1.
The meeting point for PAOK fans has been designated as the Kursaal Congress Palace, next to Zurriola Beach. It is recommended that our fans gather there as early as possible, where there are restaurants and general food outlets. The march to the stadium will begin at 18:30, while the stadium gates will open at 19:00.
It is recommended that fans arrive at the stadium by 19:00, as several roads will be closed for the arrival of the delegations and access to the stadium will be difficult.
Due to the severe weather conditions in the city of San Sebastian, there may be increased traffic on the roads and delays, so fans should take this into account when planning their travel.
Four strict security controls will be carried out around the stadium and upon entering it, as well as checks by specially trained dogs to detect prohibited substances. Any fan approaching the stadium under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be denied entry.
Inside Anoeta Stadium, it is prohibited to throw any firecrackers, flares, fireworks, smoke bombs, or laser devices, while fans should also not bring sharp objects, weapons, banners with racist, abusive, sexual, political or religious content.
Inside the stadium, all transactions are made by card and not by cash.
Fans without a ticket should not approach the stadium. PAOK fans who have purchased tickets at other turnstiles should approach the stadium without waering any team colours.
After the end of the match, PAOK fans should remain in their seats for 20-25 minutes and then follow the instructions of the local authorities.
