PAOK Academy takes a look at youngsters throughout Attica
It is well known that the activity of the PAOK Academy and PAOK Network is not limited to any narrow geographical boundaries. Teams are built from a very young age, therefore the scouts and executives of the network of collaborating academies search for and transfer their expertise to every part of Greece over time. The Attica basin was next in line during January.
PAOK collaborates with three academies, which were visited by scout Kostas Lagonidis and the coach and head of PAOK Network Giorgos Gourtsas on the three-day trip from 17-20.01.
They visited the Elpis Agion Anargyron and Rousalis Soccer Club academy in Aigaleo, attended training sessions of the under-7s to Under-17s, participated in technical meetings with the executives of these academies, presenting the details of the training program via the PAOK Footy interface platform and also determined a closed trial program for PAOK Network teams.
On 19.01 they were at the facilities of the Pyrrhios Academy in Aspropyrgos, where a camp was held for young players born between 2011 to 2015, in which 150 children participated! Essentially, the PAOK Academy executives evaluated athletes from the entire Attica basin.
