Focusing on Slavia
Two days remain before the big game against Slavia Prague at the Toumba Stadium – a match will determine the team’s European future this season. Preparations contininued today with absolute concentration and a hunger for victory.
Training in Nea Mesimvria began with a warm-up followed by possession games. The players were then divided into two groups and worked alternately. While one group did some tactical exercises with the coach, the other played a game witin limited space with high intensity. In the finale there was also some practice on set pieces.
Andrija Zivkovic, Dejan Lovren and Omar Colley underwent some treatment, while Thomas Murg was again left out of training due to a cold.
On Wednesday (22.01) PAOK will train at 16:30 in Nea Mesimvria, with the first 15 minutes open to media representatives. Earlier at 13:00 the team’s pre-game press conference will be held at the Toumba Stadium. Slavia will train at 18:00 at the Toumba Stadium, with the first 15 minutes open to media representatives, while the Czech club’s pre-game press conference will be held at 17:15.
