Leaving the cup disappointment behind
The disappointment is logical. When you are the better team in a game and end up leaving the field with cup elimination, you can’t help but be dejected. However, PAOK must immediately put the Greek Cup exit behind them, keep the positives of their excellent performance and turn their attention to the future, starting with the game against NFC Volos on Sunday (12.01).
The Double-headed Eagle squad gathered on Friday (10.01) afternoon in Nea Mesimvria and got down to work.
The players who were in the starting lineup against AEK stayed in the gym and in the pool for some recovery and rehabilitation work. The rest of the group went out onto the training pitch and worked on tactics, through various exercises, and also contested a friendly in the finale to wrap up the session.
Shola Shoretire and Jonathan Gomez did not train due to suffering from a cold virus.
On Saturday (11.01) PAOK will train at 17:00.
