And now, it’s time for… qualification
The derby with Panathinaikos is now a thing of the past. PAOK are now fully focusing on one goal: qualifying for the semi-finals of the 2024-25 Betsson Greek Cup. The Double-headed Eagle are preparing to welcome AEK to a packed Toumba Stadium on Thursday (09.01, 19:30), and the team are eager to avenge the 1-0 defeat in the first leg and book their place in the last four.
The preparations began in earnest on Tuesday (07.01) morning. The players were divided into two groups. Those who were in the starting lineup at the OAKA followed a recovery and rehabilitation program on the training pitch, in the pool and in the gym. The rest of the squad worked with the coaches on the tactical approach for the upcoming match against the Union.
All of the players participated in the training session, except for Konstantinos Thymianis, who followed an individual program.
On Wednesday (08.01) PAOK will train at 17:00.
