Another shock defeat for PAOK B
PAOK B are now in an extremely precarious position after suffering another defeat, this time to Diagoras in Rhodes, which was their seventh consecutive defeat in the championship. The Double-headed Eagle remain stuck on 14 points.
PAOK B did actually start well – they had no other choice – but then the tempo dropped. Although the visitors tried to maintain possession, which they had the lion’s share, they did not register a good chance on goal.
It was a similar picture in the second half with PAOK B looking under pressure, and seemingly unable able to find a way to penetrate the home side’s penalty area. The situation became even more difficult in the 84th minute when the home team won a penalty, which Tsiandoulas converted to make it 1-0, which was how the game ended.
The next game for PAOK B is against PAS in Ioannina in January.
