Under-17s record biggest win
PAOK’s Under-17 team registered their highest scoring win in history, beating Panserraikos in Serres by an emphatic 8-0 scoreline in a match which was delyaed 45 minutes due to heavy rain.
PAOK opened the scoring in the 10th minute with Kalpakis’ header after a corner kick from Chaldezos. Giokas scored with a shot inside the area to make it 2-0 in the 25th minute, and Chaldezos scored in the 30th minute, after an assist from Giokas for the third goal. With a close-range effort in the 45th minute, Aretis made it four and he scored again in the 55th minute, after an assist from Bakalidis. The sixth goal for the Double-headed Eagle was scored by Stamos in the 58th minute, again from an assist by Bakalidis, while in the 77th minute, Christodoulou scored with an individual effort to make it 7-0. Finally, in the 85th minute, Bakalidis was also crowned a scorer to complete the rout.
The next game for the free-scoring youngsters is next Saturday in Agrinio against Panaitolikos.
