PAOK achieved their goal in Riga, playing some great football and scoring two goals (also missing many other good chances for more), while not being threatened at the back, en route to recording an important victory over RFS.

Kiril Despodov was the star player for the Double-headed Eagle. The Bulgarian winger opened the scoring, served up the second goal to Chalov on a plate and was generally a joy to watch, as he tormented the opposing defense time and again.

And so in the poll for the Medi Jeunesse Fans’ Man of the Match, it was Despodov who was the absolute dominant player in the voting public’s preferences and with a percentage of almost 80% he won the individual award by a country mile.
