A win and top spot for Under-17s
One goal was enough for the Under-17 team to break the resistance of Asteras AKTOR Tripolis in the 12th round of the Super League, which was held on Saturday morning in Souroti.
The win, combined with Olympiacos’ defeat meant that PAOK climbed to the top of the standings with 20 points, compared to Olympiacos’ 19 points. In the 61st minute, Economou crossed the ball and Giokas headed in the only goal of the game. It should be noted as well that for most of the game, it was the Double-headed Eagle who had the upper hand and the lion’s share of the chances.
The next game is the Matchday 13 contest in Kallithea.
