Guidance for fans traveling to Manchester
PAOK supporters are preparing for another exciting European away trip and paokfc.gr has all the necessary information that those traveling to Manchester need to know before heading to the UK for the big game against United for Matchday 4 of the League Phase of the 2024-25 UEFA Europa League.
The turnstiles at Old Trafford will open at 18:00 local time. The central Shambles Square has been designated as the meeting point for PAOK fans. Fans should be there for departure at 16:30 to be escorted to the stadium.
Alcohol consumption is prohibited on the streets of Manchester.
Those wishing to travel to the stadium individually can do so by bus, train or the Metro Link Tram Service, alighting at the Old Trafford stop, which is a five-minute walk from the stadium.
There will be security checks and searches around the stadium by stadium security staff. Fans should not bring backpacks or large bags with them upon entry. Drums, banners with political, racist, abusive or sexual content, as well as any sharp object, any flares, smoke bombs, and fireworks are also prohibited at Old Trafford.
Finally, banners must not exceed 2×1 meters in size, while flags with poles are prohibited. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited in the stadium.
