PAOK were superior to AEK for the majority of the match at the OPAP Arena. The Double-headed Eagle created numerous chances, went in front, but then ultimately had to settle for a 1-1 draw in the end, which meant though that they remained at the top of the standings.

One of the major protagonists for his team was Lovren . The veteran Croatian centre-back put in a very good performance that was full of running, pressing and duels, while he was flawless in his defensive duties throughout the match.

And so, in the Medi Jeunesse Fans’ Man of the Match poll, Lovren was the man who collected 39.00% of the votes and claimed his first individual award of the season.

In second place was Jonny Otto who was also in top form in his defensive duties, while the podium was completed by Baba, who also scored the only goal for his team while also putting in a good overall shift.
